IES Technology Qatar ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through www.iestechnology.com.qa, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with Qatar's Law No. (13) of 2016 on Personal Data Privacy Protection (PDPPL).
1. Data we collect
- Service requests: when you use our contact form we collect your name, phone number, optional email address, the service you need, your area, your urgency level and your message.
- Direct contact: information you share when you call, email or message us on WhatsApp.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser information are processed by our hosting and security providers to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Analytics (only with your consent): if you accept analytics cookies, Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect information about how you use the site, such as pages visited and interactions.
- Preferences: your theme, text-size and cookie choices are stored only in your own browser (local storage).
2. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange appointments and provide the services you request.
- To send you a confirmation of your request, if you provide an email address.
- To protect the website and our customers from spam, fraud and abuse.
- With your consent, to understand how the site is used and improve it.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
3. Service providers
We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare – website hosting, content delivery, security and bot protection (Turnstile).
- Our email provider – to deliver form submissions to our team and confirmations to you.
- Google and Microsoft Clarity – website analytics, only if you consent.
- WhatsApp (Meta) – if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, its own privacy policy applies.
Some providers may process data outside Qatar. Where this happens we rely on providers with appropriate safeguards.
4. Cookies and analytics
We only load analytics after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Essential security processing by Cloudflare does not require analytics cookies.
5. How long we keep data
We keep service-request information for as long as needed to handle your request and provide after-sales and warranty support, and for any period required by law. We then delete or anonymise it.
6. Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, with strict security headers, spam protection and limited access to submitted data within our team.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPPL you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or object to processing. To make a request, email info@iestechnology.com.qa.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
