Which areas of Qatar do you serve?
We serve all of Qatar, including Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Umm Salal, Al Khor and Lusail. Doha customers usually get the fastest response.
What are your business hours?
Saturday to Thursday 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM, and Friday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Emergency repair is available 24/7 by phone or WhatsApp.
How quickly will you respond to my request?
We aim to respond within 30 minutes during business hours. Same-day service is available for many repairs when you book early.
Do you give a price before starting work?
Yes. A technician diagnoses the problem and gives you a clear estimate. No work starts until you approve it, and there are no hidden fees.
Do your repairs come with a warranty?
Yes. We provide a warranty on both service and parts. The period depends on the repair and is shown on your estimate.
Do you use genuine parts?
We use genuine parts or high-quality equivalents, and we will always tell you which option is being used and why.
How can I pay?
We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and PayPal.
Can I install the IES Technology website as an app?
Yes. On Android or desktop Chrome/Edge, use the "Install app" button or the browser menu. On iPhone or iPad, tap Share and then "Add to Home Screen". The app opens instantly and keeps working offline for contact details.
Home Appliance Repair
Do you repair appliances at home?
Yes. Our technicians visit homes and businesses across Doha and all of Qatar. Most faults are diagnosed and repaired on-site; if a unit needs workshop repair we will explain why before collecting it.
Which brands do you service?
We service all major home-appliance brands sold in Qatar. Tell us the brand and model when you book so the technician can bring the right parts.
Is there a warranty on appliance repairs?
Yes. We provide a warranty on both the service and the parts we install. The warranty period is confirmed on your estimate.
Will I know the price before the repair?
Always. You get a clear estimate after diagnosis and nothing is repaired until you approve it. There are no hidden fees.
AC Service & Repair
How often should an AC be serviced in Qatar?
Because ACs run almost all year in Qatar, we recommend a full service at least before and after the summer peak, with filter cleaning more often in dusty conditions. A maintenance contract makes this easy.
Do you offer same-day AC repair?

Do you service central and ducted AC systems?
Yes. We service split, window, ducted and central AC systems for residential and commercial properties.
Can you install an AC unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes. We can install and commission units purchased elsewhere, and we can also supply new units with installation.
Electronics, Audio & Lighting
Do you repair LED and LCD TVs?
Yes. We diagnose and repair common TV faults including power, backlight, display and sound problems, and we will tell you honestly if a repair is not economical.
Can you convert my home to smart lighting?
Yes. We install smart switches, dimmers and control systems that let you manage lights from wall panels, your phone or voice assistants.
Do you work on commercial lighting projects?
Yes. We supply and install LED lighting for offices, shops, warehouses and other commercial spaces across Qatar.
Chip-Level Repair
What is chip-level repair?
It means repairing the circuit board itself, replacing the specific chip, capacitor or connector that has failed, instead of replacing the whole board. It is usually far cheaper than a board swap.
Can you fix a liquid-damaged laptop or phone?
Often yes, especially if it is brought to us quickly. Switch the device off, do not charge it, and contact us as soon as possible.
Will I lose my data?
Chip-level repair usually preserves your data because the storage is not replaced. We still recommend a backup whenever possible, and we offer data recovery if needed.
Computer Services
Can you recover data from a dead hard drive?
In many cases, yes. Stop using the drive immediately and bring it to us; continued use can make recovery harder.
Do you support small businesses?
Yes. We set up and maintain computers, printers and networks for offices and shops across Doha.
Can my old laptop be made faster?
Usually. An SSD and memory upgrade plus a clean software setup can make an older laptop feel new for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.
